In Executive Moves, Yahoo has announced Ned Brody as its new Senior Vice President and Head of the Americas. Mr. Brody will be responsible for Yahoo’s advertising business in North and South America, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Henrique de Castro. Mr. Brody has more than 25 years of experience leading and advising businesses in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Yahoo, Mr. Brody served as the Chief Executive Officer at AOL Networks, which included AOL’s global video, mobile and programmatic advertising businesses. Earlier roles include, Global Chief Revenue Officer of AOL, where he was responsible for the company’s advertising businesses; President at AOL; Chief Operating Officer at AOL; President, AOL Paid Services at AOL; Chief Executive Officer at ARPU/GivAClick.com; Senior Vice President at AOL; Chief Financial Officer at LookSmart and Vice President (Senior Partner) at Mercer Management Consulting.
Mr. Brody holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
