In fact, Phreesia, a publicly traded New York technology firm, and Avaya Holdings Corp., a multinational information and technology company, have both relocated their company headquarters to the Raleigh-Durham area.
IBM became one of the first residents of Research Triangle Park in 1965 and remains there to this day. The analytics firm SAS is headquartered in the Research Triangle and employs more than 5,500 people at its headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.
