Darcy Antonellis named Chief Executive Officer of Vubiquity

In Executive Moves, Darcy Antonellis has been named the new Chief Executive Officer  for the video services company, Vubiquity. In addition, she will be become a member of the board of directors.  Her new role was effective as of January 2, 2014.

Most recently she served  as Warner Bros. Entertainment’s President of Technical Operations and Chief Technology Officer.  She was responsible for overseeing distribution strategy for online content and portable devices and anti-piracy operations.  She also oversaw the supply chain. Ms. Antonellis joined Warner Bros in 1998 and served as Senior Vice President, Distribution Technologies and Operations.  Previous roles  at Warner Bros include  Executive Vice President, Distribution Technologies and Operations and Senior Vice President for Worldwide Anti-Piracy Operations.  As Senior Vice President for Worldwide Anti-Piracy Operations, Ms. Antonellis oversaw the creation of the world’s first corporate anti-piracy operation headquartered in Burbank, CA. Prior to joining Warner Bros Ms. Antonellis served as Vice President of Technical and Olympic Operations at CBS News. At CBS News, Ms. Antonellis organized coverage of the  1998 Olympics and the two prior Olympic Games. In addition, she served as Director of Operations in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during the first Gulf War.

Ms. Antonellis has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Temple University and a Masters in Finance from Fordham University.  She is the recipient of three Emmy awards and was made a Fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. In adition, she has been recognized by Temple University for her achievements in Engineering.
